I really need help with file altering
I went into the rules file on my civ2 disc and created a new unit according to the way it said to and when i went to save it kept telling me im not athourized to open this file. how do i get around this?

It sounds as if you are trying to change the file on your CD - this is a read only medium and therefore you cannot do this.

Simply change the file in your Civ2 directory on your hard drive ...

cant you right click on the file and turn read only off?

though,i have no idea as i havnt ever tried to change on-disc files...

I am sorry but you can not alter files on the CD its impossible!!
