I don't mind. I mean I'll play hard and all. But I'm more into the <strike>trolling</strike> social interaction.

Actually, TOT is a great game, and opened a door to scenarios that would be impossible for...probably any other TBS game one could mention. Problem was, it didn't have a great scenario editor to go with the great scenario language, and most scenario builders just didn't want to take the time. I bought it in the$20 range, and I have never regreted it.

If you MP, you'll be schooled by the vets in both schools, so that's not part of the equation.

So why would you by Civ3 now? Wait a bit and you'll get MP, scenarios, and more when the "real" version comes out.

For now, buy Civ2 MGE . Lots to learn (trust me on that!) and many ways to have fun, from SP to scenarios to MP. And still a viable social scene.

(Granted, I'm trusting that Civ3 MP will be an upgrade. But at least I'm not spending money on beta versions and waiting for the next patch.)

And yet your Eco Party (or whatever it's called) has only IW as a member.

For now civ2 against other humans. Civ3 still needs some work. But if you took the AI out of CIV3, a lot of the problems would go away. I'll reserve judgement until there's something to judge.

YES MGE over Civnet.

You know what you want to get. Now go and do it.

Wasssup, stud???

You and Carolyn getting along? Are you instructing in a trash bag in the rain? My shoulder is lots stronger. Almost back to 100%.

Went skiing at A-basin last few days of the season.

Back in ATL now.

ummm...I guess I want MGE? Only concern is if SP will be lousy. Heard the AI was different.

I like to mull these things over for a few years before I act, ya know!
