Yes, in days of old we used to get long winded posts about the glorious leaders searching the wilderness. Two pages that could be summarized by. "Found a whale, pressed b."

Now we just get long winded posts.

Speak for yourself - I thought of those "stories" as akin to playing with dolls.

Yeah, he quit after losing ONE city; then opened up the save and re-interpretted the rules saying we ceded units and that it wasn't agreed on.... this gave him a nice out....

... out of context, not finally agreed on, arbitrated against by cavebear.. etc etc....

Don't you get it yet Markus?

EVEN if you WERE right you were arbitrated against and out voted by ALL other players in that game. Yet you didn't play on.

You are worse tham McEnroe! At least he doesn't quit....

oh dear.. what have I done now?

This thread won't ever die - sorry Rah...

Diety screw off, you cheat in every game your losing in.

My logic is the rules that are posted in the thread are the rules we play by, funny that. Of course it didn't matter to you that cavebear said these are the rules of the tourny unless EVERYONE agreed otherwise.

Your pathetic excuse was that we didn't all post in that thread that we agreed to each individual rule. So according to your logic i could edit in 10,000 gold and it wouldn't be cheating because we didn't have a vote on it and post our votes. Same with cara gifting etc etc etc. Your the only player EVER to try and get around rules that are posted in black and white before the game starts and its not as if this is the first game you did it in. You did it in our dip game and you did it in the game with nappy. Funny anyone else who does it is called a cheater.

Why not play on, Marcus. Why be such a little baby about a rules dispute. Isn't half of the fun, just having other humans to interact with? Do you want people to see you as a trooper or a whiner?

Give me a break, look at the thread, several times it was posted no unit gifting, even by diety himself. Why should i play if the rules only exist for me, but deity can break them whenever he feels like it?

I had every single important wonder and only 2 wonders got built that i didn't have. Diety built a railroad for hydy to my cap then gifted all his engineers the same turn they built the railway to hydy. Hydy then attacked with 20 cannons and calvery and gifted diplomats that moved 2x in one turn and lost every single one, he didn't finish his turn and diety gifted him nearly every single offensive unit he had and he used those to attack which allowed him to finally take my city. I pointed out to cavebear the the rules where repeated in the thread several times, and i showed him specific units that where moved 2 times in one turn. Not to mention the gifting from inside a city thing. Anyways even if unit gifting was legal what he did would be considered cheating by any normal civ player.

But anways it was the most one sided game i have ever played in and they knew they didn't have a chance in hell of winning so they cheated, i got really pissed off at such blatent cheating and said **** it.

I attached a save a 10 turns before diety and hydy thing. As you can see its basically impossible for them to even attack me without cheating. (not to mention i went all gold for the next 10 turns and bought 30 more vet alpine troops)

Also as i posted many times, up until that time i had never quit a game before. But as i said then "There is only so much ****ing cheating i can take"

LOL!

All old lies. He makes it up and then gets all confused.. for example the Engineers were not moved before ceding.

And with regard to ceding I had even asked Markus in an earlier session if I could get him to cede ME some units to fight Hydey. He said he couldn't spare any! This implies he forgot there was any rule about ceding units...

But that's not the point... he prefers to debate it for a year without acknowledging the arbitration decision. So we end up with an unfinished 'Tennis' match.

But in our current game where I'm vulnerable he manipulates another player to attasck me at the same time as he attsacks when they haven't even met in game! He's a joke

markus, I remember the whole brouhaha and you looked bad. Even here there is a defensive tone. And at the time that "rule" had been proposed but not agreed to. I.e. was not a rule. Simple, no?
