edittor
in the patch, i demand a mini map, or at least the ability to zoom out!

Heres a chat me and Zulu had about the edittor!

HazieDaVampire: know any worldmaps with no barbs?
Zulu9812: erm - no - you could d/l one and edit in civedit so that there are no barbs
HazieDaVampire: bah, the edittor runs dead badly for me
Zulu9812: how? it's not difficult
Zulu9812: have u got the map handy? i'll talk u through it
HazieDaVampire: i know how to do it, just the edittor runs real slow
Zulu9812: slow? changes like that should be instantaneous
Zulu9812: u might want to post about it to bringit to the attention of Firaxis
HazieDaVampire: what? i just know how to delete them 1 by 1
HazieDaVampire: which can take a while with a slow edittor
Zulu9812: how long does it take to delete each barb camp?
HazieDaVampire: oh, that just takes a second
HazieDaVampire: it just finding them all
Zulu9812: so what makes the edito slow?
Zulu9812: that's not a fault with the program
HazieDaVampire: i'm very good at looking at somthing, then shooting around a map looking for somthing identical, but it requires smooth movment, so jumpy edittor makes it real hard!
Zulu9812: or your computer
Zulu9812: what r u complaining about?
HazieDaVampire: i ain't complaining, i'm just moaning about it taking loads of time
Zulu9812: ah ok
HazieDaVampire: i want mini map that shows you ANYTHING you select! Like press ctrl + click on somthing and they all show up on the map!
Zulu9812: that;s true - i can't believe that there's no mini-map
HazieDaVampire: and no zoom
HazieDaVampire: if their was a zoom i might understand why they missed out minimap
HazieDaVampire: (i mean zoom out too!)
Zulu9812: yeah

The overal point in this is cuz its to hard to
1, See what your land mass looks like!
2, see things your looking to delete in a downloaded file to make it easyer! IE BARBS!
3, I want a programable mini map (get my point) so you can select things to veiw on it!

It's almost impossible to create an accurate map of real world locations (e.g. world map) without a mini-map. C'mon Firaxis, we've been moaning about this ever since CivIII was released? What is stopping you from releasing an editor with a goddamn mini-map!

IT CANT BE THAT HARD, ITS IN THE GAME! (imagen that in a 'confused Billy Conolly shouting voice). YOU ALREADY MADE IT! JUST PUT IT IN THE EDITTOR! CANT BE TO HARD, IN A SIMPLE FORM YOU COULD 'COPY AND PASTE' THE CODE INTO THE EDITTOR! (Some of yous might not know what i mean! I'm sorry! I'm from the North!).
