I understand the plan fine, I just do not like giving that much GPT. I believe that with our other plans in place, we will likely be able to beat whatever other techs we will need when we 'negotiate' peace with Lincoln later.
Just my personaly view, and as I have stated, this is a minority view. Power to the poeple in the course they decide.

We need that money for building our army especially after we screwed up with our worker. Remember that we are minimizing research to build it. We have already decided that an army is better right now than chasing techs. Besides, iron working is worthless without iron. None of these techs are going to do for us in the short term that 6 archers and 2 spearmen can.
