-I'm not sure what you mean, but there was a copy of that picture with the kitten and those um... things chasing it with the caption, "Everytime you masterbate, God kills a kitten." floating around the dorms at Georgia Tech.

Thanks to a tip from an alert citizen, this one, authorities will now be able to investigate and bring the mendicants to justice.

In a related story, the mobs torpedoe Ming 'the frog' Rodmeister appears to have gone underground as the furor erupted. Speculation is rampant that he may be on a road trip in Michigan to 'look after a problem'.

He was very serious, but now it appears as if he has edited everything out.

I strongly suspect that he is the person mentioned by Mark as being the poster 'lost' due to the kitten banner.

CyberShy has a point. There is an axiom in marketing that publicity of any kind is good. However, I can think of many exceptions to this rule. I'm sure Ming can to.

But 'Bannergate' would surely rate in the positives, since any reasonable human (being the ones you want to target) will not hold this against the establishment. They will however say, Poly? Gee, haven't I heard of that someplace before? Must be good, lets go check it out... Onwards to CNN!

I think Osama and his cohorts are quite pleased with the publicity of the last 10 months. It is highly doubtful that any wing nuts who might be sympathetic have not heard of him by now. The esteem with which he is held within existing extremist groups must also have increased.
