So Gepap got 32 votes only for being a member of the largest party?

Late response
Hello Everyone:
I apologize for not writing in earlier as I have been away for the weekend, but I am now back.

As I said in my campaign thread, I strongly believe in the development of our infrastructure as it is the cornerstone of a strong empire. Currently we have built our city infracstructure up to the point at which they can supply our needs for war or peace. Our main priority has to be to build up for future expansion. A road system between all our cities, so that all of them gain the benefits of the resources we have, is crucial. We also need to expand the workforce, to clear more jungle and to make way for further expansion, both peaceful and aggressive.

If these sound similar to goodFella's positions, its because in our current situation, there are few paths available. What I would state is this: we also need ministers who will be there at the turnchats and who will pay attention to the game as it goes. Some may be thinking: but you are late to your own elections, how can we trust you? Well, being late to the election is not what matter, not being at turnchat does. Since I have joined this game, I have tried to make every main turnchat, those that attend the chats know that. I will also, as Ninot and others have started, provide reports on the process of the ministry of public works, so that our citizens know what is going on. Tha's the key to a democracy: information. I will be there to participate, and I will be there to inform. That is the best I can do, and what I pledge.

The 'road of destruction' ...

to New York will bring dyes to the capitol. Those might be handy.

yes. it also reduces corruption and increases trade (a little).

i'm so glad Timeline assumes that because one function of the road is war, that all the other functions are negated.

What if we disband Apolyton?

Then we will have a road going to nowhere and doing nothing.

In the meantime our workers could be busy assisting in the war effort by building up capture territory and making mines to help us build up.

A road to New York will maybe help us get there a few turns faster, but at the expense of years of pre-planned effort and digging of roads by our workers.

Well, there is always the future
