GASP!

That could never happen!!!

I know of a multiplayer Demo game that had that same circumstance happen to it... The guy who got caught said that he thought "everyone does it" (Map peeking).

The game continued, but that is a danger that you will have to watch out for.

I thought in most games only the president of each side had access to the save. Now the president goes and posts images, and the cabinate makes polls inbetween turn sets.

I think turns sets started long, like 10 or 20, then got down to around 5. So yeah it slows down a game, but its not impossible to finish. But no they don't stop to ask if they should kill that settler in the middle of a turn set, hopfully the exploration and/or warministers have already made a general agressive/passive choice already predicting contact......

In a typical MP game, in the first 40 turns, there are a lot of important decisions to make (in most games, the game is mostly decided by then, in terms of the top teir teams and the bottom scavengers). In a 4 player game those 40 turns will take not much more that an hour to an hour and a half. I'll be interested to hear how long the first 40 turns takes in this game. I predict multiple sessions.

Rah.....I believe the single player demo game took serveral months to complete.

In no case would 40 turns ever be done in 1 session. In fact a break of 2 or so days would be required after at least the first 20, then later after each 5 or so turns, at least for an update w/ new images and possilbly new polls.
