Let's put France to the sword!
But if we don't reach swords for a while, I have to say we should stay in peace until we DO get them. My Archery School grads may now have some experience in battle, but I think the French may sap their resolve with their wine and women.
We need guys who are so juiced up on testosterone from waving those swords about that all they can think of is killing, raping and pillaging.
And helmets that stop them from seeing the enemies' charms.

War is beneficial now. The AIs in REX mode are a juicy target. They don't want to fight prolongued wars and in this phase the AI cities are small and the AIs part easily with them for good.
When we wait for Knights, the war will be longer and bloodier and will hurt us, because we probably will be a Republic.
Go for war now. France is it. They settle unrightful on our god-given land.

I say, go for France. I've probably given my reasons enough in the other threads, but here it is again.
France is the closest civ to us right now, and probably the easiest in terms of warfare. If we don't take more land (through military means) from SOMEONE, we're going to find it increasingly difficult to gain any sort of advantage over the others. Plus OPD devised an excellent plan in which we mass-produce Warriors, and subsequently upgrade them to Swordsmen. This would be a lot quicker than just building Swordsmen to begin with, and cheaper as well (at least in terms of shields). The only real threat there is from French Swordsmen is if they attack us - otherwise, they're just the same defense wise as Spearmen (Swordsmen are 3.2.1, Spearmen are 1.2.1). That's why I think we can overwhelm them with our first wave and prevent any counterattack from taking place. It'll basically be just an upgraded Case Teal.
