Civ II & Windows 2000?

I haven't played Civ in years and have recently been rebitten by the bug - however, I've just been upgraded to Windows 2000 here at the workplace (my only play place, unfortunately!), and am wary of the heartbreak that might follow if Civ II proves to be incompatible with Win 2K.

Any news out there on how W2K has handled the various Civ IIs out there?

Yep same deal here! I believe it should work if you reinstall the game.

For me, I've 'misplaced' my original Civ2 CD-ROM although have my old Civ2 folder still in tact.

The problem I struck was the computer was searching for 'wing.dll'. Allard (thankfully) pointed me to this site, but regrettably after installation of 'wing.exe' and the apparent presence of the 'wing.dll' file in the system, it still doesn't load.
