Instruction Manual
Is there a copy of the instruction manual anywhere online? I have tried searching, but to no avail.

I'm pretty sure there's a *.pdf file on the CD that has all 200 or so pages of the manual on it...

There is apparently a downloadable manual at the site:
http://www.aspyr.com/support/faq.php?prod=smac
However it seems to be a proprietary compression file with the extension .sit. The file itself is:
SMAC_Manual.pdf.sit
If anyone knows how to uncompress/decode this format please enlighten me!

Maybe you could just remove the .sit extension? Nevermind.

I remember on our very old Mac (maybe 15 years? at least 10) compressed files had a *.sit extension...is it a Macintosh format?
