pretty much everything I listen to is depressing. although lately I have been listening to more uplifting music like the b-52's etc.

nearly every song by Metallica

An ancient inherited shame by Dark Angel

Black- by Pearl Jam

oustide by staind- although I like the live version with that Durst guy better- more raw and emotional

spreading the disease by queensryche

In My Darkest Hour- by Megadeth

nearly anything by Pink Floyd

Suicide Solution parts 1 and 2 by Pantera

many many Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne songs

many Dio songs

many PJ Harvey songs

happy shiny people- err wait wrong thread

celtic frost- too many depressing songs to choose from

IN summary- most heavy metal is depressing. I wonder why that is. I always thought about listening to christian rock, but musically they just don't sound as good.

The Cure - A Letter to Elise

or

Blur - Badhead

Both are for personal reasons, I don't know if they are actually depressing songs per se.
