VP address to the nation
I have heard much talk lately. Disturbing talk. Some out there are predicting the doom of our nation. They say that we will be unable to continue and there will soon be too few officials to run.
I have a much different view. Look at what has happened this term. We have had an amazing turn out from the public. Look around. The elected officials have ALL manage to come up with impressive deputies. Some of those are actually taking over some, if not all, of the minister's power for some time. We have ministers leaving for school, vacation, and just plain bad luck, yet the game moves on with only a minor hitch.
If you ask me, we are stronger than ever. The deputies are getting a feel for the workings of government. I have no doubt that some will run for office, or I would encourage them to. Our ministers as a whole are keeping their respective offices organized and running and for the first time we have a full compliment of ministers at once.
Our nation is strong. We recieve new blood often, and it is this new blood that will shape our future. Now, let's all go kill some froggies. If you have been reading the Gazette, you know I have a score to settle with more than a few...
