No, it doesn't. Cool as it would be. The real - hidden - truth is that it spells Lego(TM). If Velocigames ever opens a Greek office Lego(TM) will sue the beejeezus out of y'all.
Still, it's cool: "Velocigames - building blocks for the mind!"

No, it spells logo. You mistyped an o for an e in the second letter, I think.

Gosh, so I did. Unless Velocigames do the same typo, though, Lego is still gonna sue their pants off!

Hmmm.....I guess we'll just have to buy Lego before moving to Greece then....
And Ramses....I LOVE the font! Outstanding work to all who've posted so far!

That font is way cool. But perhaps for a game - as a company logo it'd look quaint if you ever did a smac-style game.

move to Greece?
I was thinking more of building a time machine and taking computers to ancient greece. Completely untapped market! In which case Lego can't sue us 'cause they weren't made yet,
Not to mention it'll through historians for a loop.
'But sir, legos, by that name, were indeed used by the ancient greeks. Look at this new data we found'
'Burn it, such information is dangerous if it ever got out to the public'

Here's a new one. I went searching for fonts and found a pretty good one. Also it's no problem for me to change around any of the fonts and/or colors in these logos so if anyone has some suggestions I'd be happy to try them.
My 2nd attempt

One more thing... I really like that candle for the letter i in your submission, xRamsesx. I wonder if you would give me permission to try something similar (like adding a candle letter i to one of my tries). If not I totally understand. After all there is a prize and the candle is pretty cool.

Hmmm, Chow,
I see what you're getting at. I'd say get another font altogether. The imagery you're using demands something fast-paced, very forward momentum, yet agile. Make sure those ideas come through in your next iteration. Remember, think fast, agile and deadly.

Yeah, it's not for nothing I'm using a font called "Adventure"...
Basically it was the first promising one in a list of 1001 free fonts...

lol Chowlett. I gotta admit, a velociraptor did come to mind, but I had a hard time imagining them running around in Candle'Bre.

Well, it's hopefully not the only game we'll ever make...
However, I can't think of anyone who'd be crazy enough to make a game about dinosaurs though

FP,
LOL, the cowage one. You could use that one for a 'product placement' stratedgy. Gateway 2000 would pay lots of money.
Here's some other product placement ideas:
In the opening cinematic, show the king drinking a Coke when he gets knocked off
The Knights of the Furies will exlusively wear Gap jeans
Can we say skittles used in magic?
Pictures in the fate cards will have various other products poised prominently in them.
Great idea.

Yeah, NeOmega, even if I'm not really thinking on joining the contest, this is more as what my ideas come to. So far everyone has used the full name of the company, but IMHO this is going to be too much for a logo. There are few good logos out there with long corporate names in them, most of them have one simple picture associated with it, with the name mentioned when a bigger thing (like a banner) is needed. I'd think that one picture is more clear, and the 'speedy' V is a good try.
