that crazy montezuma
i just love that nutty ole montezuma, even when he's gankin me hard.

playing the french, just finishing up conquest of my verry own small island continent, dawn of industrial age.....aztecs have managed to flourish.

all of a sudden therre he is, polite and all, threatens to gank me if i don't give him a tech. well, all game i've been crawling out of a low/mid standing hole, french industrious/commercial might finally beginning to show dominance, cranking out a serious war machine and kicking @ss. i basically tell him to gank himself - he smiles and backs down - still polite!

then i demand some tech of him - or else. he just gives me the snakes and stuff torture spiel.......bur still polite!
now we're in a mutual protection pact

that craaaaaaaaaaaaazy old aztec!

I never expect rational behaviour from god kings of religious empires.

Especially god kings that apparently litterly eat babies for breakfast.

mmmm babies with a slice of toast and a cup of coffee sets you up for a day of being mad and unpredictable with other civs.

Would you settle for tortillas and chocolate in water with chiles?

placentas are rich in vitamins and iron - but not as much fun as the baby himself............

love it when this game throws me a funky curve like that.

in same game, i surrounded the indian fleet completely with my armada of frigates at one point, bombarded them down to 1 hp each, and systematically sent 'em to the bottom. while in egyptian territory. cleo buzzed me......no rop......wish i could remember the exact verbiage, but since i was so munungously powerful, she graciously submissive, hehe, was hilarious, lots of "mms', and "it seems", "inadverdently". the "we will leave your territory" response of mine was something like, "yeah, we're on....uh...maneuvers or somethhing......yeah, right, thats the ticket!", or something to the effect. never seen that one.
