Then you have a crap justice system. In the US corporations get nailed for negligence all the time. I'm not sure how capitalists created the earthquake though .

What makes you think communism would work in greece it hasn't worked anywhere else.

You haven't even done that well at capitalism

While the slogans "Kill another two, so that Saunders doesnt feel alone in the grave" I can comprehend, and dont piss anyone off (NATO agression to yugoslavia and all that - although this is not the way IMO) the slogan "happy birthday Bakoyannis" and "burn his grave" do infuriate me.

why?
because AFAIK he was a man who tried to bring the left and the righ closer. and if greece has suffered in modern history is because of this rift. to assassinate a man who seeked compromise is contemnable (as with assassinations of anybody by anybody).

also bakoyannis lobbied hard for the collapse of the junta from germany where he was in exhile.

Its a little bit strange that greeks are complainig about NATO, even though that is the one oragnisation that has stopped Turkey walking in and kicking your buts at any time over the past 40 years

The state would have done better? It probably would have made them of even cheaper material.

stinger, thats just another testimony to your ignorance about that region.
nato maps have adopted turkish territorial aspirations in the aegean... thats actually flaming up relations with turkey.
it is good for arms sales to both countries.

My ignorance regarding the region is tiny compared to your ignorance about the rest of the world

Doesn't piss anyone off except the friends and relatives of the murdered Mr. Saunders. Ahh, the politics of the deed, so much easier when you're young and stupid.

stinger, you're just pissed and ignorant.

noone cares about saunders and by many it was considered devine justice at the time for nato's murderous aggresion in the balkans.

someone had to pay and a limey would do.

many dont agree with it but dont expect them to cry you a river.

The balkans intervention was politicaly motivated, because nato politicians were fed up of bully boy serbs ethnicly cleansing the region.

what has the IRA got to do with this you silly little man

no the nato campaign was motivated by the need to justify the existance of nato. the rest is what your media fed you about demonic serbs. your ignorance is insulting to the innocent slained.

17N chose a british and not an american because the arrogance and cynical opportunism of blair in expence of thousand of innocent lives had outpassed even the americans.

at least thats what they wrote.

i dont like them but then again i dont like you. we caught them, i wonder when they will get you

I didn't realise Tony Blair was responsible for the Balkan Problems.

May be if the greeks could sought their own back yard there wouldn'tbe this mess, except of course you can't because all your toys are pointed at turkey

I always thought 'divine justice' was something handed out by god/s....

As I said, some people did care about Mr. Saunders- the linkage between the murder of Saunders and the bombing of Serbia is fatuous at best- why didn't the brave revolutionaries volunteer to fight for Serbia? So much easier to ambush and gun down an unarmed man instead. They exhibit the same kind of twisted logic displayed by John Hinckley shooting Ronald Reagan to show his love for Jodie Foster.

Presumably, according to your viewpoint, only the Greek casualties on this list are worth mourning:

23.12.1975 - Assassination of CIA chief in Athens Richard Welch.

04.12.1976 - Assassination of cashiered police officer and junta-era torturer Evangelos Mallios.

16.01.1980 - Assassination of Riot Police (MAT) deputy commander Pantelis Petrou and his driver Sotiris Stamoulis.

14.11.1983 - Assassination of CIA official and head of the US military mission in Athens George Tsantes and his driver Nikos Veloutsos.

03.04.1984 - Attempted assassination of US air force officer Robert Chad.

21.02.1985 - Assassination of the publisher of the Athens daily "Apogevmatini" Nikos Mompheratos and his driver Panayiotis Rousetis.

26.11.1985 - Riot Police (MAT) bus blown up, killing police officer Nikos Georgakopoulos and injuring two other policemen.

08.04.1986 - Assassination of industrialist Dimitris Angelopoulos.

04.02.1987 - Neurosurgeon Zaharias Kapsalakis shot and injured in the legs.

24.04.1987 - Bus carrying US servicemen blown up, injuring 17 passengers.

10.08.1987 - US military bus carrying nine US servicemen blown up, injuring all pasengers and the Greek driver.

22.01.1988 - Attempt to assassinate CIA official John Karos fails.

01.03.1988 - Assassination of industrialist Alexandros Athanasiadis-Bothosakis.

29.06.1988 - Assassination of US Embassy military attache William Nordine.

10.01.1989 - Fatal injuring of prosecutor Costas Androulidakis. He died a month later.

18.01.1989 - Supreme Court prosecutor Panayiotis Tarasouleas shot and wounded in the legs.

08.05.1989 - Car carrying former Public Order Minister George Petsos blown up. Petsos and two of his bodyguards were injured.

26.09.1989 - Assassination of New Democracy party Deputy and spokesman Pavlos Bakoyiannis.

20.11.1990 - Booby-trapped car used in attempt to blow up armoured vehicle carrying businessman Vardis Vardinoyiannis. Nobody was injured.

12.03.1991 - Assassination of US sergeant Ronald Stewart.

07.10.1991 - Assassination of Turkish diplomat (assistant press attache at the Turkish Embassy) Cetin Gyorgyu.

14.07.1992 - Assassination attempt against Finance Minister Yiannis Paleokrassas. Pedestrian Thanassis Axarlian was killed and five others were injured.

21.12.1992 - Assassination attempt against New Democracy party Deputy Eleftherios Papadimitriou. He was injured in the leg.

24.01.1994 - Assassination of former National Bank of Greece governor Mihalis Vranopoulos and injury of his driver.

04.07.1994 - Assassination of Turkish diplomat Omer Haluk Cibahioglu, an adviser at the Turkish Embassy in Athens.

28.05.1997 - Assassination of shipowner and former shareholder and director of the Elefsina Shipyards Constantine Peratikos.

Paiktis isn't gonna care about the Turks, or the americans.

The greeks were probably traitors to the cause.

which cause that is probably won't be explained

I said you wouldn't care about Turks and Americans being killed as it was all in a good cause and that you wouldn't know what the cause was though

How does pledging support for 17N as the people at the march did help, rather than detract from, your case on the issues you/they care to protest about. It seems like it would be counterproductive to your cause, if you hope to attract people other than Zorba who believe that the murders are "divine justice" to your banner.

i didnt say anything about divine justice and me.

thats just the way of the US: characterizing terrorists everyone who doesnt agree with them. the world is smarter than that as german ellections demonstrated.
terrorist IS the US. so is 17N everyone knows it.
