A point to make:
with quick Directors' decisions, a quickpoll is a good, efficient idea. I noticed one poll took a few minutes and doubtless slowed things a little. If you give it the format:
1. Option A 2. Option B 3. Abstain, then each person there just needs to vote for their number. It sure makes things fast and much easier to read.
