Another Multiplayer Newbie question
Hy!

Can i use for multiplayer games (LAN) bigger maps than these small maps i can choose in the mp menu, like the palpatineworld? Or can we play scenarios in mp modus? How does that work?

Thx Stefan.

Hi Petrie,
I'll leave it to others to answer the question but I changed the title of your thread. having two threads with the same title is rather confusing: I almost deleted one of them because I thought you had accidentically posted the same thread twice (and I'm not the only one who thought this).

Petrie, have you downloaded any of the mods yet? The Super Apolyton Pack and Cradle both have gigantic maps as a setting in them. And yes, you can play on larger maps over a LAN game - but be aware - the larger the map, the more memory intensive the game will be and the AI moves will take alot longer...

Petrie,
I have a feeling i tried to do what you did and couldn't find a way to get it to work, so the answer is no, you can't play scenarios in MP(this might be more to do with the way the scenario is set up i.e. i guess they have all been made for the single player game). But i just couldn't find a way to select the scenario from the MP setup screens. But as Wittlich says, use a mod like craddle or SAP and the gigantic maps are, well gigantic!!
Its is also possible to change the amount of civs you play against(It's in the FAQ) but in mp i've only managed Lan mp with 4 human players and 4 AI, there might be away to get the extra civs in mp but from the mp menu it will only display 8 civs in total.
