I don't know if you guys know this, but all of the German units have their move points lowered by one point in the winter months. I don't think I remembered to tell you guys, but I did it because of Germany's inability to do much in the winter months against Russia.
Thank God! I thought I was going to be this slow throughout the war.

I am terribly sorry guys, but I think you need to find a replacement for the British player. I do not want to start yet another PBEM game. I have little spare-time already, and this scenario is HUGE!

I have not played my turn yer, so I hope this will not be to big of a problem...

I can be the British if no one else can be found. I don't really want to play the British but I would rather do that than see the game die.

SAME HERE!!!!!! F***********CK!!!!!

It was at least 700 f**king words!

In short:

- Narvik, Tallinn, and Riga captured in an all-or-nothing offensive.

- Novgorod burned to the ground, along with half of the SS.

- Scorched earth policy begins.

BTW, I was wondering if we could make a house rule banning the invincible stacks Pavlov (and I) have begun to use. All someone has to do is put an AA battery in a stack with air cover, and there is absolutely nothing anyone can do about it. That makes for a very, very, very unrealistic game.

I have no problem with that. I just felt soooo vulnerable on that Russian steppe. I'll clear them up on the next turn.

All right, I made one since I didn't know what the answer would be, so I'll clear it in my turn too.

I had a long post here from yesterday, but i tried to upload and Apolyton had a problem, hmmmm....anyway...

Japan advances further into the Pacific...

Pearl Harbor and Midway Island are now fully under Japanese control and throughout the upcoming weeks and months, defensive positions will be placed to secure the islands for good.

United States Pacific fleet falls under attack again and loses even more of their valuable ships. 2 Aircraft Carriers, 2 Destroyers, a cruiser and a submarine were all sunk in various parts of the Pacific.

2 British ships, a cruiser and a destroyer were also sunk near Malaysia.

Despite fierce fighting, Tarakan and its strategic oil fields are holding strong, Japanese high command is guessing it will be under Japanese control by next month.

How the bloody @£&¤ did you destroy my stack (well it was just a bomber and an AA-gun) south of Leningrad?!

It tested it myself but even though I attacked the stack with all the fighters within range I could only damage it into the yellow.

I see now that I should have concentrated more on my first turn, I had a crap positioning.

In singleplayer I could take out SS stormtroopers on forests with a light tank. The light tanks hardly went into the yellow.

I don't know if I should laugh or cry... (Prolly cry because I got spanked)

edit: Because one thing was completely false, I overreacted

The AA battery was supported by Tallinin. When I captured the city the AA battery disappeared, and then there were only bombers to shoot down, although even the bombers required kamikaze attacks.

BTW a big part of that 700-word post was about how your strategy went wrong, but I didn't write it again. Pretty much your refusal to take those cities that you could have taken only gave me an extra dozen units to work with, not to mention the opportunity to sell off 1000+ gold worth of improvements.

If anyone wants to be the British player be my guest, there's no password or anything. Also may I suggest that if someone's going to write a long turn report they do so in Notepad or something then cut and paste so it won't be lost if the forum screws up?

I think the best way to write the descriptions is to do it, and to post the file on a seperate post right after it.

BTW, nice strategy Choke by pillaging the railroads. It slowed down my advance a lot.

I HATE pillaging but I thought "Hmmm, the next time I'm going to use these railroads to go on the offensive is...never" and they help you, and I'm poor so...

What I do is write the thing on Apolyton, but I select it all and copy it, press the send button, and if it doesn't work I can just back up and hit paste. The problem is that the rare times when I don't do it are the only times that the upload doesn't work. What are the odds...

Yes I understand your sentiments, early today while I was driving my brother (sitting in the passenger seat) lamented that there's never anyone walking on the sidewalk when he has rotten fruit to throw out the window.

Or when I'm trying to make a bus. When I'm about 20 feet from my stop the damn thing drives right past it, so that I have to wait there the absolute longest possible time. The man upstairs has to have something to do with this sh*t.

OK, I just called the British...is it my turn at this point?

And what must I do - this would be my first PBEM.
