Yay! More screenshots!
Edit:
What is the context of that armada screenshot? Combat? Cutscene? Other?
And, Is there a mini-map of the galaxy, ie, some way to see the whole galaxy at once?

Neither, if you mean what I think you mean. There are two sets of emphasis (attitude) names, one for sending a new diplomatic message, one for replying to someone else's.
And if that's not what you meant, you may cheerfully ignore me...

Petty point #394: The planet screen is still costing things in dollars, not AU.

Kudos to both of you. Now if I only had some AUs... can I pay you on November 24th?
H-Tower-
John Bigbootie is a governer listed on a couple of the new screens. I just wondered if anyone else got the reference.
And just so you know, it is pronounced "Bigboo-tay!"

System colony ship
In the screeenshot "Planet Build Queue", under Available Items, you can find:
--outpost ship
--colony ship
--system colony ship
Does someone know what is special for SYSTEM COLONY SHIP in comparison with a usual COLONY SHIP ?

I figured it was like Colony Ship vs. Colony Base in MOO2: one is cheaper, but only settles planets in the same system. But I don't really know.

I would think the colony ship could go to other systems, but the system colony ship, can only go in the same system. Dont kbow if they dropped the colony bases or the are for colonising moons of the same planet they are build on?

System colony ships are for colonizing planets in the same system that they're built within; the equivalent of the MOO2 colony base.

Thanks all!
It makes sense after all: if there is a distinction between system ship and 'hyperdrive' ship, that distinction must apply to colony ship too (no need for hyperdrive = more population transported, probably).
I don't know why, I thought about a bigger colony ship able to set claims on a whole system (by establishing directly a System Seat of govt on one planet).

System colony ships are cheaper, rather than moving more population for the same cost.
Note that you CAN build larger ships with multiple colony modules on them (though I suspect that may not be cost-effective).
Even an outpost is sufficient for establishing claim to a planet, AFAIK.

It would make sense, if you wanted to jump-start a colony -- maybe it's in a vulnerable/valuable position and needs to be built up quickly.
There are other reasons that I can't yet go into, as well. Ask me the day the game hits shelves
