The timezone indication wouldn't be necessary, since it's your local time (as specified in your options). At least, that's what I think it is, considering FrustratedPoet apparently sees 20:49, you see 14:29 and I see 21:29.

Agreed, it would be nice for those of us who have voted to be able to see when it ends.
I'm pretty sure it's based upon our timezone - mine said 06-11-2002, 7:29 or something similar. I have voted though, so can't check.

you can post a poll and limit the period in which people can vote. (after that period you can't vote anymore)
in this new feature the poll shows how much time there's left over to vote.
