Godking and UnOrthOdOx Game
We are playing a game, and having trouble using emails. So I am posting the saves here til we each get our systems up and running smoothly again. Any and all are welcome to look, but please do not cheat and let us know things.
Thank you.
GK

I think it is important to bring up some of the reasons we had to resort to this.
First, we are both having some problems with our respective E-mail systems. Yahoo, and AOL.
But perhaps more interesting is the possible bug you uncovered GK.
Aparantly the system flashed to my kingdom, allowing GK to see it for a second, but then proceded to his next turn. I have a password, and had units needing movement so it wasn't just politely skipping the need for me to hit continue. Anyone else seen this happen?
Anyway, this is just a friendly game anyway. Anyone can have a look. Mass regicide, small map Gk, me, and 2 AI, random all settings. I got Japan, GK got Zulu, AI's are Viking and Babylon.
Another interesting developement, your save stried to DL as an attachment, not a save file. If mine does the same, just change the file type to *.* and name it something.sav

Sounds good Unortho. I will download tonight. I was waiting to see if the bug reproduced itself before reporting it to the community at large.

Wouldn't it be easier to edit the old file out, and post the new one?
This could get very, very, very long

yeah, but you keep racking up those posts
...dang, I could have added about 20 more if I had just put one word in each post

Hopefully we can both get the E-mail bugs worked out. Once I get off my business trip, I should be able to get my end working.

If you load a PBEM game while playing another game, it'll get all screwed up (you see the other guys empire, etc.). You have to load the game from the main intro screen.

I wonder if that was it.... could be. I do not remember. The good thing is that it has not repeated itself.
Saturday afternoon should be ok for me. I have to work in the morning, but should be home by then. I have heard from Yahoo, and they indicate that they think I have a software compatibility issue for sending attachments with my email... how this suddenly occured they are not saying...... they think however that they will have it fixed in the next day or so.

Your turn again....
I will be floating around this afternoon, and will try to be back by 3 or so. Just PM me as a reminder if you don't see me post. Once we get started, souldn't be a problem.
Also, making attachments to my email is still not 100%. sometime the attachment gets corrupted. Also, it takes about 10 minutes to attach anything... so by posting this might be the best way for now.... soon we will have to delete all those old posts however.....

Ok, I am back home (yeah!!!) until around March. Actually, they are talking of having me MOVE in March...
Anyway, I am ready to resume the E-mails when you are. And am now free most evenings after 7 (9 your time) and Saturday mornings and afternoons.
Here is the next turn
