Dying Workers
I've noticed a strange occurance. The AI seems to kill off its workers. The first time was after I had taken a city by culture. The worker moved toward its territory and then suddenly died. Much later in the game I saw 3 workers in a city die (thats strange in two ways, that it happened and that I could see it). I've never see this behaviour before.

I've seen the AI disbanding workers (and sometimes units) in two situations: (1) workers, when there is a good chance they will be captured before reaching safety; and (2) either workers or units, when the AI's income is insufficient to support all of its units.

I've noticed some of my workers just disappear (Warloard Level). I believe it is when I have turned them over to the AI to perform a task, such as build a road from one city to another.

I have heard about the MI bug, where workers can come into contact with their own MI and be attacked. I have not noticed it, but that does not mean it did not happen to me. I do not go to auto waorkers until late in the game and could miss it as I have the animation of auto moves off.

This may have been a MI-type bug since the AI CIV in question may have got MI around that time. It didnt occur with my workers though. Catts explanation makes more sense, this was just the first time I've actually seen it in any civ game or its variants.
