PC Gamer Holiday 2002 Ad

There can't be many things more embarassing than running the ad for your hot new game, complete with phrases like "The fight for the galaxy has begun" (emphasis added) and "The wait is over," but still have no game to put on the shelves.

Anyone heard even a whisper about a gold master?

(Yes, I know. It's on schedule. And they have plenty of time left for production. And they know how many pages are in the manual.

And the jewel cases are just waiting for CDs to be inserted. Anyone want to buy a bridge?)

They were running that ad last month and you are quite right. I do not expect to be playing any Moo3 this month. Now I have to sweat getting in a game before 2003.

Actually, it's not quite ready. And I can't say more about it than that. Except to say that it will be ready very soon. And if not then, then very soon after that.
