Tree Farms make sucha difference to our infrastructure and development, its essential ASAP. I know we're at war, but this will help us so much more int he long run, and Yang is fgar enough away not to bother us yet. Go for EE then SFF.

Getting the technology to build tree farms is one thing.

Building all those tree farms in our bases is another one. Remember that they will be quite expensive to build at this stage.

It is true that it will provide us with a great boost to population growth and economy flow.

On the other hand, it will take us some before getting return on their investment.

And besides, they will do us no good in term of base defence should Yang decide to attack us. There may be a sea between us but considering the amount of fungus between us and our lack of recon, the Hive could be able to send an attacking force and take us by surprise.


NB: As a side note. I know that the AI is quite weak on the game but I will act as if it was a HUMAN player behind each of the faction.

After all, the Apolyton staff may decide to spice to take control of some of the factions to spice things up and provide our community with a good challenge

Keep working toward EE. Yes, the tree farms will evantually be valuable and necessary infrastructure - but the main reason to continue toward that research goal is the lifting of energy restrictions

With future boreholes and tidal harnesses reaping their full potential, we will be faster to make subsequent discoveries like SFF.

I forgot that this is the Tech that lift energy restrictions. And this alone can provide us with increase energy in the short, middle and long term.

Okay, I change my mind and finally agree that EE is the best choice of research for our faction.
