Paul, what have you decided ?
Random one or Japanese. I warn you : there is no hut in Japan ! But still explore to see the barbs coming.
Mapmaking would them be great (greater than monarchy ?).

I won that game easily although my opponent resigned a little pre-maturely.I have another going against a fella from Germany that seems to know what he is doing.I'm all cramped in in a typical French defense fashion.Pawn up, but I'm starting to dislike my position.

Smash, can you remind me of the link, I know you did it once a long time ago, but I forgot exactly where and I'm too lazy to search. French defense is great.

Now I understand the confusion with my email address. I need to change my email in my profile. I will do so in a second but first, let me post my desired email address here...

kcbob49@hotmail.com

Thanks.

* edit *

Now I know why my profile had the other address. You can't register a hotmail address. Oh, well. Please do use the hotmail address for all succession games. Thanks.

Julius, I have decided to go for the Japanese. This game shouldn't be too easy or later players would just get bored. I selected the following opponents: Russians, Germans, Greeks, Chinese, Sioux and Aztecs. That should give some spread across the map, but some civs could still meet each other. The presence of the Chinese also allows NON-units from huts in Asia. Without them we'd end up with loads of supported units once we start exploring and hut-hunting.

Caligastia, can you confirm which version you have? If you don't have 2.42 or if you don't respond we'll need a new player for the 4th slot in the 2.42 game. SG[1] has already volunteered for the 5th slot, but he can be replaced if new people show up who are not already in the MGE game.

I haven't heard from Caligastia or any other player interested in the 5th spot in the 2.42 game. So if anyone of the MGE succession game players would want to take it, please post here. If I don't get any replies in 24 hours I will start the game tomorrow with 4 players: skrobism, Hueij, SG[1] and myself.

Now that the gigamap OCC succession game has finished I was wondering if you guys enjoyed playing it and if you would like to play more OCC succession games in the future.

Paul - I was wondering about having one map played by three different succession teams!

1) OCC
2) ICS
3) Perfectionists

It could make for some intersting comparisons.

Yes, it could be a good idea. Should it be a random map or a carefully chosen one ?
I’m ready to play, either for the OCC or the perfectionist team.

SG(2), that sounds like a good idea. I'm willing to play for the OCC team. Perhaps you should start a new topic for this?
