Trading with the Enemies
We have started trading goods with the Celts, and they are closest to us on the Powergraph. When we send trade Caravans to them, it benefits us most, but it benefits them also. We can trade with everyone now, and most of those other civs are less of a threat to us.

Shall we stop sending Caravans to the Celts?

Well, I generally agree (big cities are usually better), but your comment is ambiguous. Do you mean that we should mostly send Caravans to the Celts because they are most powerful? Or that we should avoid the Celts because they will become stronger through our trade Caravans? Or the third option, that it doesn't matter?

it doesn't matter, if the best city to send a caravan to is a celtic one then send it there, if it is Mongol, send it there.

If we start getting techs every 2 turns or even every turn then the AI will never keep up.

What benefit ?
Receiving a caravan doesn't give any money or science beaker, it only establish a trade road.
So, trading with Celts or other does not much matter.
The main aim is choosing a far large city, asking for the goods we have.

The continuing value of the trade route is what I was referring to. The value of the trade for the receiving city *does* add up over time.
