Industrial Sprawl
Just curious how you get the goodies from the senario folder like "Industrial Sprawl" into the game. Doesn't come with any readme (shame on you Fraxis) and I am not much of a mod maker or whatever. Just curious how to get these things that I paid for to work, especially urban sprawl.

Don't be surprised - much of the changes in PTW were woefully undocumented.

If you want to use Industrial Sprawl in as standard PTW game, just copy the railroad.pcx in the civ3ptw\scenarios\art\terrain folder to the civ3ptw\art\terrain folder. But you should backup the original railroad.pcx first.
Now industrial sprawl is default for all new PTW games and all scenarios that do not change the display of railway tracks themselves.

Does this answer your question?

I would like to see them put together a small document that can be downloaded from their web site that covers this stuff, for those who will not be taking notes from the forum or even have access to it.

No, nothing else, just the rails. Puts some little buildings around them.

Industrial Sprawl is very "pretty". It puts skyscrapers (many of glass) all over the tile. So much so that it is impossible to tell what type of terrain it is, and difficult to tell what if any units are on the tile.

Sincerely, it IS pretty, but quite impractical for playing the game.
Check it out in a saved game that already has abundant railroads, but be prepared to revert quickly.

Can somebody post a screenshot? If it's a graphics mod, does it only work with PTW?

Off topic: Jaybe didn't you have a different Avatar !

So long...
