New European PBEM Game
Anyone else want to play PBEM ? I'm thinking 4-6 players on a medium size world ?

Yep, I'll go for it. What rules do you have in mind?
If I was you, I'd try and limit it to people in the same, or very close timezones, so that it doesnt take forever to get al lthe turns done.
If you want me, I'd like the player name: Argh, my email address for turns is jamesowen@eurobell.co.uk and my timezone is GMT. Oh, and my version of PTW is 1.14
If I can pick my Civ I'd like the Celts please, but I really don't mind going random.
So, want me?

I'm in too if you'll have me.
I am GMT, also with PTW 1.14f.
I'll take English as a preference (although I'm Welsh).
I'm away from Wednesday until Saturday 21st, so won't be able to take turns until then but after that I should be able to rattle a turn a day.

Great - OK lets make it a european game then - I'd like to be Egyptians. I'll wait till we get a couple more players.
BTW - how did you get the 1.14 patch? I can only find a US version which will not work with european versions ?

Right I'll start the game tommorrow with the three of us - but hopefully we'll get one more before then:
Tom Red: Egyptians
Argh: Celts
ColDark: English
World Size: Normal
Diffculty: Regent
Is that OK with everyone?

Phew just caught me, as I'm practically out the door. Early damper I'm afraid.
I'm away until Saturday 21st, so I won't be able to take my turn until then. But look forward to it otherwise.
Cheers

Let me beg to get in. I'm in Canada, but I work very early in the morning to mid afternoon. So, it's really like I'm in Bermuda. I could easily be the last man on the chain and I'm reliable as hell.
jshelr@aol.com
PS, I would like to play as America or Iriquois.

Ah what the heck, I have no objections to anyone the game organiser wants to let in.
Are we just using the default, standard rules?

Just checking in on my sisters computer (no Civ3/PTW game disk so cant do turns).
Only minor objection I have is too many players make turns come round slower. But I'll still play with with as many as Tom Red wants to allow.

OK - so the final list is:
1. Tom Red : Egyptians
2. Argh - Celts
3. ColDark - English
4. jshelr - America
5. Alex - Babylonian
Sorry Omnipa - we trying to keep it european - and 5 players total so the game isn't too big.
Default/Standard Rules
Pangea
Random age and water %age
Barbarians roaming
Difficulty: regent
Temperature: temperate.
Any questions?
