City Radius
It's been a LONG time since I've played Call to Power II, so I've forgotten a lot. I'm finding myself way behind all the time. The AI Civs are already building a whole bunch of wonders while I'm still stuck trying to develop my first few cities. Perhaps it's because I move my settlers too far to set up cities?

What city radius size would you recommend so that my empire isn't too large with cities spread too far? I've noticed that the max radius is about five tiles in diameter.

On most occaisions aim for city radius of 2 definately, unless your capital is on a long river on grassland or something extra yummy, because it will need radius of 3 to grow into.

This is all taking into account that youll complete the game before end of the modern age. But If you want to go for the Gaia controller end game, look what type of land your cities are based around and give them 3 or 4 radii, depending on heavy food tiles available.

Also, think when they expand where will the city borders meet. Look and make sure they fit together in a jigsaw type fashion, regardless of land around. Then youll be able to see all the tiles inside your borders, so hardly any barbarians popup.
