Humanity has treated animals as they have treated other humans. Sometimes exceptions have been made. We say its ok to kill certain animals like we say its ok to kill in a war or when our lives are at stake. It's ok to kill a cow but killing a dog is cruel. Horses are not to be killed unless they are old or lame. Cockroaches are ok to kill but certain kinds of snakes are not because they control other species that we consider pests. We cheer when a shark is killed and cry when a dolphin dies. It's just the way we are.

Sprayber: this goes nowhere. What are your morals on this issue? I say: human utility. period.

You can't just take away a person's right to masturbate.

Because you're "killing" a bunch of cells that are nothing. I guess washin is evil too, because you end up killing a bunch of skin cells by scrubbing.

My dog Rocky never really brought me much wealth, contribute to medical science or demonstrate human utility, but if any human ever tried to hurt him they would defintly find out what it is like to be an animal without worth. I guess my morals on the subject are somewhat fuzzy.

To answer the question of your thread. We treat animals exactly like we treat humans. Which is fine with me.

This sort of reminds me of the commercial on tv where the two squirrels conspire to drive cars off the road by making them swirve.

I KNEW someone would take the Nazi angle when I said that, but I hoped they wouldnt lol.

he did demonstrate human utility by making you happy enough to fight for him, right? I have the cutest mixed miniature pinscher, and I adore him. He's a friend, a member of my family, and a creature that loves me whole-heartly ( though he can be a pain sometimes, but don't we all ) . I don't think he has any legal rights, though. I have a right, because I am his owner. ( and even those rights only exist within organized human society. )

Chirstian Nut Mode: Amnials weren't like us, because we are part of GOD'S kingdom, not the animal kingdom, the reason animal exits is to feed us and/or to do cute things! (Like MOOOOO! Funny )
