Quicksilver is ripping IG off
QS has done a shoddy job, missing deadlines including the all important Xmas time. People always talk about how the developers are good and the publishers are evil. (As if publishers should be philantrhopists who bankroll lazy developers or penny-pinching gamers.)
I think QS should not get any more work from IG. QS has violated the trust of IG.
I am half-trolling...but part-way serious.

Geez buddy, it's just a game! I know you are frustrated like a lot of fans but it'll be out in a month or so.

Um. You realize that QS has been sending the game to IG for testing constnatly for the past month. IG has been sending it back with bugs to fix. Thats just the way it is.
It was IG who prevented them from releasing it in march (and from what we heard, thank goodness they did).
As to blame . . . Its just a game. The real problem is that QS told people when the game was coming out. That is almost always a mistake. Even the guys who're making generals, who swore they'd make their release date, pushed their game back. Release dates are bad.
Developers should just tell people it'll be done when its done, so that when the unforseen and unavoidable delays happen, no on will know.

It seems to be they are all adults and should be able to handle their own affairs, so I am not worried about either.

Look... just be thankful we're not quite to the point of repeating the debacle with Moo2 release dates

Come on, man. They're not doing too bad. What good will it do to slam these guys? At least they were willing to pick up the MOO title and assemble a game with input from fans that will allow it to be one of the greatest ever made. We've waited for seven years for this game; what's another month?

I for one plan to continue to bash greedy producers and support the hard working developers... I need clear areas of good and evil
But really, who knows what's "really going on in there". I don't think we're in any possition to throw blame around.
