Playboy centerfolds are becoming less shapely
http://www.cnn.com/2002/TECH/science...boy/index.html

Sometimes I feel like I'm the last guy in the world that likes shapely voluptuous women. I like a women with hips. Even if I don't necessarily want children, I like a woman who looks like she can shell out a couple of rugrats without dying. . I like hips on a woman and of course I like big breasts. But in women's dying effort to be thin they are losing these. Well they aren't actually losing these, it just seems men like women to be skinny no matter what. I don't think it is worth it.

This thread of course will deal with women's outer beauty to balance out my inner beauty thread .

I would make a poll, but I just finished drinking a little bit of that demon alcohol, and my typing is not the best. I feel like I will leave out some cup sizes like the ever important 36DDD . OK that is too big, but I do like 34C's and 36C's and d's. As for hip sizes I'm happy with Marylin Monroe's 36 hips. 34 is also nice.

So we'll do this the old fashioned way and list what breast/cup and hip sizes you like. No fancy poll this time.

now why would this thread be deleted? If women want they can post what penis size they like in men . Well don't do that- that would surely get this thread deleted.

Hips
Big breasts

I actually think an overwhelming majority of guys prefer the Marilyn Monroe archetype to the androgynous look that prevails in popular culture.
A theory that I have heard, which actually makes quite a bit of sense, is that this look is a result of gay guys, no less (but then again what isn't ). The theory goes that since gay gays control the fashion industries and so forth, they tend to prefer girls with male features (slim, lack of curves, and so on). So, as far as gay guys find women attractive at all, they like them to have mainly male characteristics in their appearence, and this is therefore reflected in the current runway models and now Playboy as well apparently.
Playboy has been suffering from decling subscriptions for a long time anyway. Perhaps it is a cause of silly misjudgements as these, or maybe people have simply learned where to find porn for free.

Yes, it's always the gay guys isn't it.

And I would disagree with your "overwhelmingly majority of guys" comment. Most of the guys I know don't necessarily go for the women with a DD cup.

And hips are hips are hips...

And FYI, gay men like curves too -- just in different places on a woman. I don't think the gay-men-in-fashion theory holds any more water than Scientology.

As far as sizes go, On the bust front I guess I would prefer DD's ideally, but D's are also quite acceptable (the Mrs. is a D, thankfully). Size 36 hips sound nice for me as well. Waist measurements? Size 9 to 11 maybe? I'm not an expert on women's sizes. No ultra skinny girls for me though.

No way, hips are a pivotal part of the female anatomy, and vastly underrated these days, IMHO.

You're probably right, I found it interesting though. The root cause of all the androgynous girlies these days is probably more linked to various sociological factors involving our obsession with youth. But it's tough to say for sure.

I also don't have a clue where you're coming from with the androgynous comments...

I don't know ANY guy who goes for androgynous girls.

Or maybe you're trying to make a statement by grossly exaggerating something? Hell, we should make all women wear corsets.

Well, I was referring to the current trend of models. The waif, emaciated girlies But you're right, I don't think hardly any guys go for such girls in real life.

Nice Christmas theme.
That "my stomache doesn't exist" look doesn't do it for me, however.

She's sucking it in.

[sigh]Betty Page[/sigh]

The really sucky thing is, that to keep their breasts during their anorexia, women are getting breat implants, which frankly, don't look right.

The reason why models need to be thin is because modling is about the clothes, not the model. The model is simply a frame to hang the clothes on. The real problem is that Hollywood has gone for the anorexic woman in a big way.

I likes my womenz shapely with curves and few bones showing.

I like curves, but big bosoms aren't high on my list of important characteristics.

Shape is more important than size. Hell, more than a handful goes to waste anyway.

For Physical appearance, all in all, I don't think I could describe a perfect set of characteristics (and I doubt any of you could). I like the looks of many types of women. I like the curvy type, I like the sporty type, I like the regular type, and I sometimes I would go for the thin type as well. It all depends really, you can't generalize these things. Each case deserves it's own judgement. And of course, let's not forget about how the face looks. A stunning face is not obligatory, but I'd like it to be nice. I'd rather have a skinny girl with a nice face, than a ape with a body of a goddess.
