Got some ?'s
Why is it that the world fears my cruise missles but not my ICBMs?

After the years "run out" for civ3 can I still keep playing it?, I all readly won a dilplomatic victory...

And what do the "furture techs" do?

1) just because

2) yes but you get no more additional scoring

3) I believe all they do is add to your score

Why did the game make a manditory time limit anyways? I know you can change it, but only up to 1000 that I could find...

sabo10 summed it up nicely. Remains to say, that there's a discrepance between 2) and 3) though. After you already won a diplomatic victory, future techs do absolutely nothing. You should set your science slider to 0%. I just don't know, what you'll do with all the money. I also don't understand, why anybody would continue an already won game. I sometimes abandon them even before I really won, because the game is basically over with a comfortable lead and the rest is (boring) routine. But that's just me . Merry Christmas.

This is actually the only way I play Civ3.......beyond the retirement year. I play for world domination, slowly taking over everything. For me, its fun.....and im getting my moneys worth.....so mission accomplished.

I've never tried it, but does the Histograph keep working after retirement?

Merry Christmas everyone

not just you...

it's a long time since i last completely finished a game (except cultural/diplomatical victories). after destroying the other large civs it just isn't fun going after those spearmen on far away islands with my MAs, battleships, etc. the game gets dull to me...

Anyone ever try playing on Chieftain once youve played a few games? Its horrible having tanks fighting spearman and being in the modern age when they're still in the middle ages.

edit: instead of "chieftain" i put "chiefdon"... i'm stupid
