sub check fails after 1.14 patch install...

I installed Play the world, it ran fine. Then I put on the 1.14 patch and now it says 'please insert the CD', its in, I tried it in both drives, tried a reinstall, from both drives. Same everytime....
what do I do?

You have installed the American version of 1.14f patch, while you own a european copy of PTW. Download the Euro patch from a German site( can't remember which, look for a thread somewhere).

Go to www.infogrames.com

you should be able to find the patch there or track it down to one of their european sites.
