That whole virginity thing is starting to sound like a horrible trophy, but to me it represents who she'll first fall in love with. Love, as we've come to know - is of permanence, and can make for something longlasting.
Yeah, you're right... but its not an end all be all.

And don't be ashamed, its something important to work for.

I would say most importantly just be as persistent as hell. Show her that you're more eager to please her than her own boyfriend is. Find out, discretely the things that she wishes her boyfriend does/doesn't do and make sure to do or don't do those things... but more importantly focus on the do's. Actions speak only slightly louder than words, so don't underestimate the power of dialogue too. A big part of my courting my girlfriend was a daily correspondence I kept with her over e-mail two summers ago. Every word was meticulously chosen and placed.

You don't want to sound too perfect though. It is good to act natural at least some of the time. Meticulously choosing and placing words can sound a little too played out and fake.

Oh, exactly... that was half the battle, making it seem natural.

And that was almost two years ago... my girlfriend saved them all and printed them out. I read what I wrote sometimes.

Oooh. Gives me shivers.

We need a cocky smiley

Oh, and zylka.

In the long run, your struggle will help you solidify the relationship. Girls love to be fought over (not physically, that just makes them cry) despite what they say.

I mean fought over in an indirect way... like as in fighting for her affection. Especially when there's another guy involved to begin with.
