Diplomacy screen - not all civs appear!!

I play at regent, huge with 8 civs, but only 6 of them appear at the diplomacy screen. I have made contact with all civs, established embassies in all capitals. The only way I can contact the Romans and Egyptians is by right clicking on their units if i should be so lucky that they appear outside the "black fog".

What the hell is wrong? I have played the game 4 times and it has never happened before!

Try right clik +Shift where their pictures are supposed to be.. Sometimes the prog 'forgets' to put them up. Usually when encounteing more then one civ in the same turn.

Use Shift+right too when using more then 8 civs
