I think that, personally speaking, I might enjoy "You've Got To Hide Your Love Away" the most, just because it affects me so much. That and "I've Just Seen A Face" make the Help album one of my favorites.
Each Beatles album is unique and special for me, I love them all. Each album has it's own 'vibe', and they're all classic. The one song I truly detest is the Long and Winding Road, my god. It's got barry manilow written all over it! Yech.

There is no such thing as a "best Beatle song". However, there are a few terrible ones (all those "cute" McCartney songs like Yesterday and Long And Winding Road to mention just two)...

Don't Pass Me By is a very catchy song. Whenever I play the White Album it sticks itself in my head and I'll be humming it for days. And Octopus's Garden is a fun song as well...

Its impossible to pick one song. I'm not a Beatles fan despite owning all their albums (and I do mean albums) but how do you pick one song from the most influential band of all time?

Beatles? Is that the band Paul McCartney was in before Wings?

Any poll ignoring "Strawberry Fields Forever" isn't worth bothering with...

Picking my favorite Beatles songs is a lot like picking my favorite illegitimate child; I really like the ones I can remember, but it's so hard to keep track of them all...

Seriously though, it's almost impossible to pick a favorite. Right now I'm infatuated with "For No One", so I'll say that. I'm a sucker for McCartney ballads.

"A Day in the Life" is the best, followed closely by "I am the Walrus"; but my favorite is "For No One."

Reviewing the voting, I"m amazed! Could someone quote the lyrics to "Other"? I don't recall how that one goes.

That's the only Beatles song with any bite.

Thank you.

And I would probably vote In My Life if it was there. But tough choice.
Oooh, Tandee has good musical taste. I agree, a lot of those #1 tunes are relatively weak, while there are a ton of good songs which weren't as popular. Your list is a great start.

I agree on both accounts. For me it's the vocal stylization on "Hide your Love Away" that effects me, along with that lonely hermonica. The "Long and Boring Song" is definitely my least favorite of their popular stuff. It's cheese, and not good cheese either.
