Max number of units in Game?
A friend and I are playing hot seat and we just noticed that we are no longer getting the units we make. Is there a max number of units that are allowed to be in the game at one time? Any help would be appreciated.

There is one , but I don't remember how many units exactly you can have.

I think the max. is something like 4096 IIRC.

Actually, I think the real question should be....
How many different types of units can there be?
How many total units can there be on the map at one time?
I asked a similar question, and Willem said he thought 256. Which I guess is how many diffent units.

I figured you meant 256 different units. I Was just confused earlier as too how you could only have 256 different units but have an icon sheet with around 1000 icons.
