MoO3 on the shelf in Walmart
Well, I was in Wally world getting the weekly groceries and just happened to stop by the software section, and was scanning the shelves.

Lo and behold, there was a shelf tag for MoO3, and at the back of the shelf, way out of the light way a copy of....that's right, you guessed it...Hearts of Iron!

Kinda wierd cuz I've been waiting for that game as well...ahem...I mean the third patch anyway.

I was with the wife so did not have time to ask anyone there, but .....IS THIS THING OUT YET????

Let's do the democratic thing and vote on how RPMisEVIL is to be executed.

Proposal: RPMisEVIL shall be placed in a spacesuit, with each appendage chained to a different starship. The starships will then engage their ftl drives.

That won't do. It is FAR too quick. I think giving him to a Tachidi as a plaything would be far more amusing and would last longer, maybe.

How about we tie him up and stuff him in the moo3 section of the shelf at walmart until the game comes out.
If it happens to be released early, he may make it out alive.

Sounds like an appropriate punishment which fits the nature of the crime.

Geeze, sorry folks....was just trying to determine what was up with the Tag on the shelf in Wally world.

I did not know if they put it on the shelf and it sold out or what. Apparently, ya'll have set me straight.

I still think that it is a good sign that Walmart has made some shelf space for the game.

On another note, I noticed that Computer Gaming World had a release date for Stars, Supernova of March 2003, yet the website is still old news. Has anyone heard any info that this one is coming? Last thing that I heard..."It's dead, Jim!"

Dr. RPMisEVIL

Since there is no Walmart in my area I think RPM should volunteer to contact his local store and ask what's up with the shelf tag for MOO3.

How bout it RPM?

I think he should do some time answering rabid fanbase questions about shop availability over at IGMOO.

Let the punishment fit the crime, and all that!

I can't help but keep going into the Wal-Mart software section, even though I know it won't be there just on the off chance that there might be some freak mistake where it gets shipped early to my store and a clueless walmart shelf stocker will screw up and just put it up by accident........

But those things never REALLY happen, do they?

I was in Wal-Mart a few weeks ago looking for an old copy of CTP2.

I saw a little section lableled CTP2. But, it had AOE2 in it...

some stock boy must have made a mistake..

what a drag.

let's debate it!!

You are so right, the other two do not like each other and could use a new friend.

Really guys, maybe I should have named the thread:

MoO3 tag on the shelf at Walmart..my bad.

Didn't mean to cause such a stir, just was wondering of anyone else saw this at their Wally world? and/or if the game was out

Never shop at Wal-Mart, never even been in one even though several have popped up here in teh Metro Detroit area. But if Wally world is like any other retailer, tags on the shelf mean nothing in relation to stuff in stock...
