1.11 patch vs 1.2 Update (Stupid Question)
This is probably a stupid question, but please help.

Ive just re-installed the game and went to download patch 1.11, and noticed there is an update patch 1.2.

Do I need to load both? or if I want to get into NL Lobby MP games I presume I only need 1.11. Or does 1.2 supercede 1.11. Please explain. Many thanks in anticiapation.

Yes, it was a stupid question, sorry just ignor me. Now I see that 1.2 is for CTP1 ooops, anyway now I have v1.11 and the updated servers.dat so I should be good to go yea?

Or do I need to know anything else to play MP online.

you should be good to go, MP games are most often played without mods

Which is why i dont really play mplay CtP2
the mods dont work properly in mplay (certainly Medieval mod doesnt and i have heard Cradle is very dodgy)

The mods do work in hotseat mode though. Im playing a PBEM game (through the hotseat mode) at the moment with SAP and no drastic problems like MP.
