civ 2 conflict with windows 2000 professional
I have civilization 2 but when I put it onto the windows 2000 professional operating system I get a message "stack error in IR41 dll civ 2 will now close" so I cannot get the game to run at all. This happens every time I start the game. I do not have this problem on windows 98se or xp professional. what can I do to fix this without screwing up my win 2000 os?

This has been covered before - generally the problem is resolved by getting the latest Indeo and WinG drivers (IR41 is an Indeo driver). for the details hit the search button above and search this forum with the keywords Windows 2000 ...
