there is. it affects the whole memory usage of apache. in fact we had some issues as of yesterday due to the required changes in the apache configuration....

...I say "tried" because I can´t upload any file (jpg or bmp) and I always have the "File is wrong type" message

Uploading the same file, Pg7.jpg works but pg7.JPG don´t.

File extension must be
.gif .jpg .png .txt .zip .diff .gz .bz2 .bmp .jpeg .slc .net .sav .scn .hot .rar .wav .doc .rtf .pdf

it's actually the little picture used for the Peacekeepers's HQ. maniac copied it and used it as the picture of the base he governs

ah, still doesn't work. i tried uploading a save from the ACDG, (named Lal-of-the-Peacekeepers-2256.SAV) but i got 'wrong file type'

Just manually change the capital letters into small letters and it should work. I had a similar problem with SheathedSword.JPG .

It has four letters in the extension. A politically correct extension should only have three... Just like the file name shouldn't have spaces or other "illegal characters".

Maybe because styles do not apply to the uploads section, since it is not a part of the vBulletin software, do you think?

Yeah ... I suppose that the fact that it isn't part of the fora is a good enough reason to plaster it full of ads.

Well, it's not really plastered with ads any fuller than the forums on default style. After all, you aren't going to upload files every minute or anything. And you only see two pages there - one before you click the upload button, and one after... Two ads won't kill you now, will they?

(And besides, IMO, the site fully deserves the few cents it gets from those two ads for such a nice feature.)

Ok, then what about .ADG files

EDIT: What do you gain by not allowing spaces in file names? When uploading my SC4 files, I have to both .zip the file, and rename the file (to kill the spaces) (Gets annoying when done often)
