The disappearance of our formal institutes
We used to have formal institutes that discussed the various issues involved in the game. Most notable and active were the War Academy and the Machiavelly Institute, that made sure to open discussion threads about important issues in the areas of military and diplomacy (respectively) that arised during the game, and bring forth bold new plans on how to deal with these and future issues.
When did these institutes disappear? What, in your opinion, was the cause of their decline and eventual demise?
Most importantly, would you like to see them back?

In this stage of the game, we don't have so many interested people. The game is already won, we have no challenges. It's sad, but true.
And yes, I would like to see those institutes back...

I intend to make sure that this happens in the PTWSPDG.

It is and I hope it will come soon so that I can go for the new challenge. Perhaps again as DM, who knows. The DM will anyway have a more challenging task than I have.
I've met my challenge however: Governing with but 3 Regional Governors. I can do the rest on my own due to lack of interest from senate people who aparently like to vote but don't like to bear responcibilities!
Apolytonians, the land needs to be governed!
Please PM me or write down in the Domestic Ministry thread, I'm looking for new RG's
Thanks in advance,
Aidun

I've found keeping foriegn affairs ministry threads for each civ particularly useful in the PtW game. We need to keep track of each civ, since behavior, & reputation is going to be impossible to predict - for example GoW, despite its name, is very reliable in keeping its agreements.
