Weird Bug: Two Civs using same tiles!
Has this been discussed/explained?

In SMAX 2.0, playing as ... Gaians? Can't remember. Might even have been a custom faction. But I had Vendetta with the Spartans, and had infiltrated their datalinks. We had bases on two separate continents, with a 3x1 island in between. When I looked at her base, it was using the same two special squares on that small island that MY base was using!

M = My Continent
B = My base
S = Spartan base
H = Spartan continent
~ = Island
* = Island, special (One nuts, one mins)
. = Ocean (no seabases nearby)

.MM.*.HH
MMB.~.SHH
MMM.*.HHH
MM.....HH

Can anyone explain this? Is this because (AFAIK) no one's units had ever visited those tiles?

I have a savegame.

I remember something about this before in the post. IIRC it had to be with the squares along the right and left edges of the map. Would that happen to be where your bases were?

I think the problem is purely that the land on the island is not in either faction's territory. As the game only takes into account your own bases' production, and not enemy bases, both bases are allowed to work the square. Another bug I'm afraid
