I agree. The original MOO strategy guide was the best strat guide I have ever read. It added to my enjoyment of the game immensely.
Actually I should say it was the best "official" Strategy guide. Vels SMAC guide is in a class of its own. But I think they were both great because they were both labours of love rather than quick grabs for cash that most "Strategy Guides" seem to be these days.
