The Silver Fleece Medal Thread -- Nominations Only Please!
This thread is to let the forum users to make nominations for the Silver Fleece Medal, the award given by The Spanish Civilization Site to those people ho have made outstanding contributions to the Civilization Community.

Info about The Silver Fleece: http://spanish.apolyton.net/civ/fleece.shtml

So people, I want to see your nominations

Rules:
1) Please no discussion here (SPAM STRICTLY FORBIDDEN), just nominations.
2) Self-Nominations are forbidden.
3) Nominations for The Spanish Civilization Site Webmasters are forbidden too. I know they deserve it , but that wouldn't be fair.

OK, that's all. We want to give the award bi-monthly, but if there are enough nominations that could be changed. Thank you very much.

-------------------------------------------------------------
Henrik's Nominations:

I'd like to nominate Arne Schmied ("AroSch" at apolyton), for his many
fine unit and city graphics, which for instance can be seen in scenarios
made by myself and scenarios by John Ellis, and for his work as the
webmaster of the German civ site, civ 2 universum ( www.civII.de ).

I'd also like to nominate Phenix Benton (Exile at Apolyton) for his many
fine and very well thought trough scenarios for civ 2. Scenarios such as
Age of War or Imperialism 1870 has become classic scenarios in the pbem
comunity, and there are many ongoing games of them currently.
---------------------------------------------------

--EDITADO--

Eliminado el nominado invalidado.

I would like to vote for Stefan for his last scen, but he had received an award in the past

So, I nomitate for Civ2

- Henrik, for a continous work in the behalf of the civ comunity, and, specially, for his last scenary, currently in betatest: D'Historibus of Europae

- Alejandro [Academia], for his work on PBEM-designed, modern scenaries. I think that there are not good XXth century scenaries for PBEM but Alejandro's Cold War and Falklands War

For Civ3 (but I don't know too much about Civ3), I nominate

- El Mencey, for his maps and continous works

But, in fact, I doubt if Civ3 reserves any Silver Fleece Medal

Friendly reminder: The Silver Fleece Medal is NOT for one-time scenario creators but for those who have demonstrated an outstanding service to the Civ community

Inevitablemente me siento aludido aqui:

an outstanding service to the Civ community
