Hello!

"Upgrade all" (Shift+U) shortcut seems not to work any more in 1.21f. It upgrades the selected Unit only.

Greetings
Darky

This is a very annoying bug that I have found. I had a carrier in the ocean heading towards a continent. Only a single Jet Fighter was in the Carrier. On the next turn, I had about 12 stealth bombers in a city. Instead of rebasing the bombers to the carrier four times (5 spaces on a carrier) I chose to move all units of the same type (ctrl-J). Instead of moving 4, it moved all 12. I have yet to play the turn to see if the bombers get destroyed or what, but this is a very disturbing bug. If 8 stealth bombers get stuck in the ocean, or die, I'm gonna be pissed.

Glad to see Firaxis is fixing the bugs.

Planes don't die in Civ3 if they aren't on an airfield/city/carrier. This isn't Civ2. I'm not really sure how much of a bug this is. Very low priority compared to anything MP related. After all, you did tell Civ3 to move all units to the square (it really doesn't care what is in the tile when you give it the order).

yes, but it allows you to have bombers floating on the water around an island, even without the carrier present. you could leave dozens of "floating bombers" all over the map, and rebase homeat the sight of hostiles. you could also bomb all you want wile doing said reconinance

I'm not saying it isn't a bug, but Pat had the whole MP speedup and stability issues to deal with. They should get more of his time.

A good, competent software company takes care of the big and small bugs. If it's any consolation, I think Infogrames is more at fault than Firaxis. I'd like to believe that the people at Firaxis take pride in their work, while I know that Infograms only cares about $$$$
