It doesn't really matter that much after the match.

Some people can't see the match live and prefer to watch the extended highlights without knowing the result... there was an excellent episode of "Whatever Happened To The Likely Lads" on that very scenario...
Since I support Sheffield Wednesday, I'm too busy wondering how we can possibly go from being in the Premiership a few seasons ago to being on the verge of being in the second division to be bothered with an insignificant match like this one.

Alva .. hey sorry .. ive been posting for years and nobody has complained before .. however, next time I have a score .. I'll bare that in mind.
OFITG .. Im from Chester originally ! Ive supported Liverpool all my life.
End is Forever, ok ok .. I know, Alva already slapped my wrist for reavealing the score .. just for the record, I didn't watch it live, I listened to Radio 5 live over the net.

Chester I've worked with a guy from Chester who played for the town club, and he said that he played with Michael Owen's dad anyway... I am sure it's not easy for you in Newcastle, but better than living in Manchester I guess

A good friend of mine played for Kingsway High as Striker, partnering Danny Murphy ..
My uncle has a place in the directors box at deva stadium, so occationally I find out whats going on back home.. and follow them .. for a moment last season, I thought Chester were going to Join Blyth Spartans in the Unibond
Newcastle fans don't mind Liverpool so much.. well, thats been my experience, so its not so bad living up here .

They are boring. I really didn't want them to win because of that. I'd like such negative football to be punished. Not a claim you can make about Arsenal at the moment, easily the best team to watch in the Premiership. I'm no Arsenal fan but they are just breathtaking at the moment. Different gravy.

Actually the boring boring arsenal comes from the 70's when they won the double.

I know what he was referring too hence "They are boring." and "Not a claim you can make about Arsenal at the moment" rather than me disagreeing with what he said.
ManU play really good football as well. As a Neutral I'd much prefer to see that ManU team win stuff than the current Liverpool side. Just because of their attitude and quality of play and how good they are to watch.
Everton are even a lot more interesting to watch than Liverpool these days!

Liverpool are a classic counter attacking team, it actually makes for an intersting game if the other side comes at them. They can be boring at home if the oppoonents aren't up for it. Yesterdays match wasn't bad and I wouldn't say Liverpool were boring.

The first half was dreadful. Second half was pretty good.
Liverpool have no imagination. It's defend the edge of the 18 yard line and when you get the ball hump it up to Heskey to hopefully nod down for Owen. Or hump it over the defenders and hope Owen can get on the end of it.
If Liverpool can only be involved in an interesting game if the other team make it interesting then to me that makes them a boring team.
Except in the UEFA cup final. But I didn't see that I was off watching Reading in the play off semi final.

A decent einger would male them better or a full back who would allow Rise to paly in midfield. Gerrard and Murphy are good in the centre but not much good at getting wide

He can play on the right side of a central duo, but he is wasted on the wide right(although he is good there he is very talented)

Didn't Diouf play as a winger during the World Cup?

thought he played a more forward role, he's shite at liverpool though. not a bad game, dudek was a hero united should of had at least two goals in the second half, well deserved man of the match for him

I'd say that finishing in one of 2nd, 3rd or 4th is now second only in terms of a domestic prize to finishing first. More important than the FACup for sure.
