Yeah Makeo, it sux a bit but I guess if I'm not here tomorrow night the same will hapen to me!
I don't like it but at least it keeps one game really rolling along.
So if there are no other options with Sat night's roll call play mine as an AI or I might get a sub if that's OK.

Fri I played, I even didn't go out, missed the last train then you all went to bed... Oh well...

Sat I'm out being cultural

Sun arvo around for a game

And I think the word 'cheat' needs some hard evidence

A glance at deity's map gives no evidence of cheating, all his armies are in allowable positions.

So why did you stop the game saying I did something impossible?

I don't have to explain what units I'm using in what squares. You were asking for confidential info about my civ.

Also, you should play with trust.

This is yet another example of Horses bullying and abuse of hosting position.

It's classic poor sportsmanship:
* He kills my second starting settler - not illegal but a bit off in our 6/7 player games (I did not complain at all in the game and saw it as a challenge)
* He turns from jolly to nasty using the 'cheat' word as soon as he sees my Dumbos coming to get him

Why don't you wake up to yourself Horse?

I told Ms deity I'd been arguing with you again and she said you were *nice*. I said in real life he's one thing but online is another. And the way you are is spoiling everyone's fun - even your own, you misery guts...

One thing about the timer, could people please agree if the host asks for a change. Thanks.

I did.

On another matter, what a pity last night's game isn't going to continue tonight. There the game was, drifting along aimlessly, everyone beavering away towards Monarchy or whatever their particular bent, until Deity discovered big grey things with tusks that weren't walruses. Ironically, the big grey things with tusks that aren't walruses are arguably the most family-oriented of beasts. I leave you to ponder the irony.

We weren't saving at that point. We had at least 10/15 mins to go. I was the only that specified a time. A few said they were tired.

Horse specifically wanted to halt because he wanted me to explain my moves! Just like he held up a 2000BC game to negotiate borders. Go figure.

I refused the timer change (a few times accidentally but it caused me to attack a unit I didn't plan on attacking, so it stuffed me up)

I'll agree on Timer changes if I agree with the *proposal* by the host.

I repeat, we weren't saving at that point.

Horse just wanted an unlimited Timer because he got rattled and needed time to think... From Dictator Horsie (1250 B.C.): we need to stop, deity just did the impossible

(My comment about Makeo continuing to buld Granaries was a joke with a smiley BTW)

Horse just sent the IP and I joined - wasn't sure what game it was until I got into it.

I think it's uncool what we did to Makeo, upon reflection.

I think we should replay the last session otherwise we lose Makeo in the Aussie games.

Can we vote on that?

You are the main trouble-maker around here!

The trouble is that the dinner conversations are OK. I think now we've met each other our online persona's should equate to the real relationships we have.

I'm really offended about Horse's accusations. He's made several such attacks over quite a few years now. It's a dirty strategy to make mud stick and an attempt to change the psychology of the game. He wouldn't say it across the dinner table.

The last session of the game played last night? That was the ONLY session... If last nights game is going to continue, I'd really appreciate if you guys could hold off until next weekend. I've quit DJ'ing, so I'll be spending fri/sat at home for the next 2-3 weeks and will be available to play both nights.

If you mean the OTHER game we played last weekend, then I can live with AI taking my civ for another night. It'll be a challenge to see what kind of niche I can carve out for myself.

But a lot less than what Ms finbar would have to say about it. French polishing being as expensive as it is these days.
